CITMO 2005 - General Information Sheet

Travel: Plovdiv lies approximate 150 km from Sofia, and about two hours away by car. Most delegates will be flying to Sofia, where transportation can be arranged for the onward journey to Plovdiv. This is best done together with your hotel booking. The hotel will arrange for the transfer from Sofia Airport to the hotel if requested and given the flight information. The same applies for the return transfer to Sofia Airport from the hotel in Plovdiv. This information is also stated in the Hotel Booking form.

Lodging: The hotel for the workshop is the Trimontium Princess Hotel, centrally located in Plovdiv. Sights and shopping in Plovdiv are withing walking distance. A gym is on the premises and its facilities are available to hotel guests at no charge.

Social Activities and Tours for Delegates and Spouses:
Dinner and cultural event – evening of 17 June.
Tour of Plovdiv – evening 15 June.

Dress Code: Daytime events with exception of first day of Workshop: presentation and working group sessions, informal dress. No coat and tie. Casual clothing. Shirt with collar preferred.

Opening Day, dinners and evening events: Semi formal attire. Coat and tie for men. Dress or other appropriate business attire for women. Sport coats or business suits are both acceptable.
